A Live Talk Show organized by Duliajan Girls’ College Library and IQAC jointly.
Objective: To introduce a multilingual poet of Assam Mr. Rajumoni Saikia to the participants and also gain knowledge about the poetry of different languages from him. Date,Time,Place: 8th July,2020 on Cisco-Webex Plateform. Department: Organized by Duliajan Girls College Library and IQAC of the college Jointly. Jayashree Das Baishya,HOD,Eng.& IQAC Coordinator Students involved (Participants): 97 participants including students and faculty of the college and outsiders also participated in the event. Brief description/Summary of event: The event was begun with the brief description about the programme given by the Librarian of the college Ms. Raju Rani Saikia. Principal Dr. Lakhimi Phukon delivered her inaugural speech and welcomes the guests. After that Raju Rani Saikia introduced the Chief Guest Mr.Saikia with his significant achievements in the field of poetry and Drama .Followed by an interview session was started with the guest, which was very informative and enjoyable. There was an interaction period also, where some participants talked with the guest about different aspects of poetry.
