In service training Programme on SOUL 2.0 for Library Staff

Objective:  To learn in detail about the Library Management Software SOUL 2.0 Date,Time,Place: 5^th and 6^th January,2016 in college Library. Teachers involved/Conducted by:  The Programme was conducted by Duliajan Girls College Library and Duliajan College Library jointly. Participants involved: Librarian of Duliajan Girls’ College Ms. Raju Rani Saikia and Librarian of Duliajan College Ms. Mondira Chutia participated in the programme. Brief description/Summary of event: SOUL is a library management software designed and developed by the INFLIBNET Centre, based on requirements of college and university libraries. SOUL 2.0 version was installed in Duliajan Girls College in 2015.Therefore to bring awareness of the software for working properly, the college library authority organized an in-service training programme on January 5^th and 6^th,2016.Mr. Anupam Sharma,IT Assistant of Guwahati University was invited as a resource person for the purpose.
