Essay Competition among the students

Objective:  Objective of this competition is to give students the opportunity demonstrates their reading, thinking and writing skills in a well connected and compact manner. Date,Time,Place: On 27^th July,2013 in library Reading Room.  Department:  Organized by Duliajan Girls’ College Library. Students involved (Participants): 15 nos. of participants of different Semester participated in the competition. Brief description/Summary of event: Essays are evaluated by the respected teachers of Assamese and English Department as the medium of competition was both Assamese and English. Among 15 essays evaluators selected two essays jointly for 1^st position, one for 2^nd position and again two essays jointly for 3^rd position. Conclusion/Outcome: Prize holders are awarded in a formal meeting later.
